The calling of the Lord is expressed with such humility and respect in the text from the Book of Revelation: 'Look, I am at the door and I am calling; do you want to open the door?' He does not use force, he does not break the lock, but instead, quite simply, he presses the doorbell, knocks gently on the door and then waits. This is our God!
